Important notice
The Show me / Tell me questions are to be changed on the 1st July
2008 and I will be updating exisitng sites on this date. New sites
created from now on, will use the NEW questions.
Enhance your site with a Show me / Tell me page..
When your pupils ask you where to look for information on 'show
me / tell me', why tell them to look on another
site when you can let them see the information
on yours? Chances are, they will get their
friends to look too - more traffic = more potential
customers
With any of my designs, you can opt to have an
additional 'Show me / Tell me' page added based on the layout
shown below. As each question is clicked,
the appropriate answer is shown, then, as another is clicked,
the previous answer is hidden again.
Personalise the page
Why not give your pupils a really good reason to keep coming back to
your site (and encourage them to tell others
about it), by incorporating photos from your
own car so they know
what to expect when they open the bonnet. You could also modify
the answers to explain answers in more detail
e.g. In your car , is turning on the headlight
done with a button or dial on the dash of from
an arm on the steering column?
Photos do not have to be too big and could easily be taken on a mobile phone if you do not have a digital camera available. Just e-mail these to me and I will put them in the appropriate position.
The interactive show me / tell me page costs £25 and like any of the other pages on your site, can be edited and changed for you at no additional cost.

Show Me / Tell Me
Part of your test includes a Show me, Tell Me' section. This is
when your examiner will ask you one 'Show me' and one 'Tell me'
question about general maintenance and safety checks on your car.
You can get an idea of the kind of questions you will be asked on
this page and by clicking each of the questions, you can see the
kind of response you would be expected to give.
A wrong answer to one, or both of the questions counts as one Minor
Fault. |
